Delivery Ceremony of the Ethylene Distillation Tower for the 1.65 Million Tons/Year Ethylene Unit of Huajin Aramco Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Engineering Project

Hanyang Heavy Industry Equipment Manufacturing (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., in close collaboration with China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. and Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Co., Ltd., completed the manufacturing of the core tower of the ethylene unit—the ethylene distillation tower—on September 20, 2024, after five months of intensive construction in the 1.65 million tons/year ethylene unit project of the Huajin Aramco Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Engineering Project. This is not only the first oversized piece of equipment delivered for this project, but also Hanyang Heavy Industry's second large-scale refining and chemical project ethylene unit oversized stainless steel tower, delivered just one month after delivering the ethylene tower for the PetroChina Tarim Phase II ethylene project in mid-August this year. This is strong evidence of Hanyang Heavy Industry's continuous self-improvement and new heights in the field of large stainless steel tower manufacturing.
On October 17, 2024, our company held a grand delivery ceremony for the ethylene distillation tower of Huajin Aramco's 1.65 million tons/year ethylene unit, and we witnessed this exciting moment together.
The first piece of equipment delivered this time, the ethylene distillation tower, is enormous. To ensure project progress and product quality requirements, Hanyang Heavy Industry meticulously assembled a team of management personnel and construction workers with strong technical skills and rich manufacturing experience to form the Huajin Project Team. Overcoming numerous challenges, they worked tirelessly for five months to complete the manufacturing of the ethylene distillation tower ahead of schedule. As the core tower of this project, its size once again broke the record previously held by Hanyang itself for the largest single stainless steel tower in China
